Meri Moon

I got the BLT on Hawaiian bread with Fire crackers. Sandwich was perfect the crackers were amazing, buttery, flaky and super yum. Worth a lunch trip for sure.

Love the vibe at Meri Moon. Friendly service, very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Lunch was awesome! Veggie sandwich, hummus with pita, Alabama Fire Crackers and tea. And the tea was not bitter like most unsweetened teas can be.

I live in Birmingham but me and my family (who all came from other states) were in Montevallo yesterday for my father's burial service at the National Cemetery. Afterwards, we wanted to have lunch and some coffee somewhere, so we ended up stopping at Meri Moon. We had SUCH a good experience and the food and drinks were amazing! The girls that worked there were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was eclectic and cozy. Since I live in the area, I will definitely be making more trips from Birmingham to come back!

Everything was perfect—I couldn’t ask for more, my friends and I stopped in for dinner. It was clear they use high-quality ingredients. The club sandwich I had was truly delicious—every bite felt like a celebration in my mouth! The drink was awesome, and above all, the staff were incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely welcoming. I strongly recommend this friendly local spot!

I ordered: Chicken salad on lettuce, lavender ice coffee w/ oatmilk Overall, I really liked this spot. They have a very clean and fitting atmosphere for the overarching theme of the restaurant. The food was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner, who I didn't realize was sitting behind me at the time, kindly paused to ask if my coffee was okay after observing how I'd asked for a few things to make it taste better to me. She apologized for it not being right, which I personally appreciated. We're very fortunate to have this gem in Montevallo! I'd recommend this place to a friend and I look forward to returning to try more tasty menu items!

This lovely place is amazing! From the salads to the shakes, you won't go wrong stopping by! And let me just say...the Fire Crackers...get some to go. They're addictive!

Great converted old movie theater. I am told they show old movies one night a week. Use the old ticket booth for their old poocorn machine. Wonderful mango smoothie and sandwiches.

This cute café on Main Street has dining indoors and outdoors. We went for lunch after visiting the University of Montevallo. The menu has a variety of Southern influenced fair. The firecracker salad was amazing. The salad was topped with rich cheddar savory bacon rashers and crushed firecrackers it was a great bite. I paired it with their crescent sandwich, which is a peanut butter and banana sandwich. They added mayo to make it perfect for me. The sandwich came with a small bowl of boiled peanuts, which had an depth of flavor I did not expect. My daughter had a firecracker and pimento cheese appetizer. It brought the heat and she paired it with a vanilla milkshake, which was perfect. 10/10, would visit again. It again.
